Where to Get Tested for an STD
No matter where you live in the United States, there are places to get an STD test. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a great website for information, and it can help you find the closest place to go for STD testing.
All you have to do is put in your zip code and you will see a list of available STD testing locations near you. You may be able to get free or low-cost STD testing, so be sure to ask about cost and payment options.
Remember, if you think you need a test because of your sexual activity, then you need to have a conversation with your partner or partners and encourage them to get tested as well. And remember, you can have an STD and not have any symptoms. For most STDs, there is treatment available.
