Illness & Disability

School life with a learning disability

There are many kinds of learning disabilities that affect young people. The different learning disabilities can affect listening, speaking, reading, writing, reasoning (how you think), or math skills. Even though these disabilities can sometimes happen along with other health problems, they are caused by a problem with the body’s central nervous system (which is made up of the brain and spinal cord).
